15-25 hp plane in comparison !

I am sure this plane could have been smaller too , but with 6'5'' tall pilots it would have been impossible ! I estimate the weight to be 55 kilos ( empty ) without wing struts. I might get it to 52 kilos depending of the engine. With 32 kg/m2 wingloading and drag less than AR-5 I think It should get airborne with just 10 hp:s ( 15 for bigger dudes like me ) ! Very Happy New Year 2012...still 45 minutes to go here in FINLAND ! ---- I am again considering the wing strut..the structure becomes heavy without the struts and I am aiming low weight over high speed. If I cannot get the both ( speed and low weight ) then I have to settle for the low weight and somewhat limited speed.
