  1. How did you came out with 35 kg empty weight?

  4. What is calculated foot launch take of speed?
What is estimated best glide angle and minimum vertical sink per second.
    Is this glider soarable?

  5. I have calculated the stall speed 24 KTS for 240 lbs pilot. If you have 10 m/s frontal wing you need to run 2m/s forward ( 7 km/s ). L/D is 1/20.

  6. I mean 7 km/h running speed in 10 m/s wind.

  7. Plene alone is weightless at 26 km/h speed ( 7 m/s ) when level.

  8. How would you build up the mainspar and how attach the ailrons to the rear spar or false spar?

  9. Erkki the mainspar has been calculated to be 4 kilos empty..it has been made in layers of really thin pine sheets...clued and compressed. A bit like the Colombani's wooden bird which had actually carbon fibre core..this is volumetrically bigger wing and thus also laminated wood is viable ! It is very very lite and holds plus minus 4 Gs !

  10. I have to create a lite secondary spar for the ailerons.
