Someone told me this is difficult to build. I dare to say differently; I say this is the easiest of the 1 kW using aeroplanes ever. My aim in this 1560 mm spanning model is 875 gramms max weight. Cause 6^3=216 and thus 216 x .875 gramms is 189 kg for the real one. That is same as 70 kg plane with a 119 kg pilot. Albeit my calculational target is really 45 + 80 kg ( plane + pilot ) ie 125 kg. Thus 125/216 = 579 gramms ( for the 1/6 scale model )!
I am 12 cm taller and 40 kilos heavier than Rick in 1:1 scale would be. Rick just as the model will be are in 1/6 scale.
The Sopwith Camel is in 1:72 scale...but for Rick it is 1/12 scale.
