I was able to reach 3 000 kg pressure / cm2 and got past 2000 kg/m3 density on the wood composite.
Stuff is hard as steel..possibly harder since it is close to carbon fibre which is 5 times tougher than steel.
I recall Howard Hughes claimed 80% tougher than aluminium for the urea folmaldehyde glue based Duramold wood composite.
