Jerry Holcomb's Perigee

Jerry kindly promissed me to use here the PERIGEE ( opposite of Apogee ) pics he sent me.


Plane seems to have new kinda tailfeathers ( compared to Micro-Imp ) and dry weight is down to 370 lbs from 450 lbs of Micro-Imp of 1981.

Big hand for Mr. Jerry Holcomb because: " The Perigee ended up with a 35 hp Cyuna 430 engine and the airplane weighed 370 lbs empty." He did what Jim Bede had originally set out to do with 38 hp Hirth engine on Bede-5B, but later all were fitted with 60-100 hp engines.
