Gekko with an F-11 Tiger

One of my design philosofies is to compare " ancient " jet concept with a new design. New plan form ( derived from XB-70 Valkyrie ) with extra lite material results a very formidable advantage for Gekko.

Gekko frontal area is 1.47 m2 which is only 35% of F-11 sized subsonic BAE Hawk ( frontal area 4.2 m2 ). However Gekko is only 40% of the 3.63 m2 frontal area of the F-11 Tiger.

Very dramatic is the comparison between profile area..Gekko has 6.63 m2 and F-11 20.1 m2. RCS might have been pretty big on F-11.

BELOW COMPARISON WITH OTHER PRIVATE JET ENTRIES.

Small update !

Above comparison with the only cranked arrow delta wing aircraft ever flown.

It was able to go into supercruise.
